For the Birthday Pi, I started by creating charts with the random chart generator, then I looked for patterns that pleased me and played a bit with the Intwined software (flipping, rotating etc..). I got some interesting patterns, but found out as I knit, that most of them were too…busy(?) - I can’t quite put it into words, too over the top (could be simpler).
So, as I knit the prototype, I corrected the charts, taking away some of the sts, moving YO’s around.
I tried (not very successfully) to make the inc rounds less visible.
